Uploader Custom Storage
One of the features of our platform is that users can choose to store their images in their own AWS S3 or Cloudflare R2 bucket. This gives users greater control over their data and allows them to easily integrate Simple Img into their existing AWS or Cloudflare infrastructure. Users can simply configure their account settings to point to their preferred storage location, and all new images uploaded through our service will be automatically stored there. This feature can also be useful for users who have specific storage requirements or compliance needs that require them to use a specific storage solution.
Here are the instructions to set up custom storage using the admin panel:
- First, go to https://admin.simpleimg.io/ and log in to your account.
- Once you're logged in, click on the "Uploader Settings" tab on the left-hand side of the screen.
- Scroll down until you see the "Custom Storage" section.
- Select your preferred storage provider from the dropdown menu. Currently, AWS S3 and Cloudflare R2 Storage are the available options.
- Follow the prompts to enter your access keys, bucket names, and any other required information for your chosen storage provider.
- Once you've entered all the required information, click on the "Save" button to save your custom storage settings.
That's it! Once you've set up your custom storage provider, you can start using it to store and deliver your images.
